Noise Pollution in Egypt By
Mohammed Altuwayrish Noise is
defined as unwanted sound. In Egypt the noise pollution is the second biggest environmental pollution issue. It is considered as a serious
issue because of its
harmful impacts on citizens and public health. The impact of noise may causes
hearing lose. Egyptian
drivers are constantly honking their car horns even when the street in front of
them is empty. According to
the WHO (World Health Organization), which considers noise pollution to be the
world’s third worst after polluted air and water, exposure for more than eight
hours a day to sound in excess of 85 db. It is potentially hazardous and can
lead to serious illness.
